Brian Stolarz is a criminal defense attorney with LeClairRyan in Alexandria, VA. For over 8 years, he worked pro bono to free Alfred Dewayne Brown, an African American man falsely accused of killing a police officer, from Texas’ notorious Death Row. His book, Grace and Justice on Death Row, is a faith journey about his representation of Dewayne. Join us on October 14, 2018 at Annandale United Methodist Church as we dive deeper into Brian’s story, detailed in his book, of how that experience both challenged his faith and transformed his understanding of the American Criminal justice system.
